An autobiography that traces the life of Walter Pac from his birth in 1926 in the Polish section of Buffalo, New York, through childhood with an abusive father, dating, marriage, children, making a living and a life through the Great Depression, to the present day when he is getting ready to celebrate his 60th wedding anniversary.
Walter felt unloved and unwanted, and even contemplated suicide at times. He mentions, more than once, that he has made mistakes and hopes that this book will help others to avoid making those same mistakes.
