HAIL TO THE CHIEFS

My interest in the presidents is purely personal. I do not study them to learn their political views or their historical significance. Instead, I want to see their quirky human side. In this book, I tell how I got to spend time with the last six presidents and the experiences I had along the way. I think it is worth all the work I do to get close to them. My goal is to show that the presidents and the first families are just like us; common people who have had the same struggles and unusual happenings that often occur in life and to show that the presidency is still accessible to the average citizen. I cannot wait to share the things I learned in my twenty-year journey with the presidents.
